XC Week 3 - June 28th - July 3rd

Great solid week of training everyone. Thanks to those who are logging on Strava EVERY DAY. Keep up the good work and it will pay off. The XC season is MADE during the summer so stick with it and keep running on the days we don't meet. This is our last week before Moratorium so just a heads up that we cannot meet for practice at all next week, but don't take the week off, still get runs in and log on Strava.

We do have our Phoenix 5K coming up in about a month and a half so we want to get some info rolled out and get going on that. Please head to the Phoenix 5K Page to learn more about it but start getting some prizes or sponsors put together to help our XC team. Any sponsor money you bring in, I will give back half to you to order XC gear from the team store. More info to come at practice.

This week we are wanting to do a breakfast after the run on Friday the 2nd for those who are in town. If any parents are available to help out with the breakfast or have breakfast equipment that we could use, please email Coach Brower: cbrower@dsdmail.net

If you are looking for a good 5k race this weekend, here is a site you can go to find a variety of local 5ks in Utah you could try to sign up for and go race: RunningintheUSA We want everyone to find a race on Saturday or go do a 5k on your own Saturday.
