First Week of Outdoor Track

Outdoor has arrived!! It is finally that time of year and we are in full outdoor track mode now. If you are planning on doing track with us at Farmington, you need to make sure you are at practice EVERY DAY (not just on B days during 8th period). Every week the practice schedule will be posted here on the blog so make sure to check the blog frequently to know what is going on. The first thing everyone needs to do is go on to the eligibility page and complete everything on that page. This needs to be done ASAP. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know: cbrower@dsdmail.net

Second thing, we have a current order for Farmington track gear. We got the store deadline extended to end Monday night (2/25/2019) at midnight so if you are interested in getting some track gear you need to go on and order before tomorrow night. This way we can get our gear here before the first track meet. Make sure everyone who is doing track knows about it. You can find the online store here. A reminder that everything on the store is optional. You don't have to buy anything on there and the $50 for your uniform is completely different than this. I already have your uniforms and you will pay for that at the office. If you buy something on the store know that it is an extra item that is optional, not required.

Here is the schedule for the week. Make sure you make track a priority and are at practice every day.

Presidents Day

Great job to all those who competed this last weekend at Simplot (Results). That was the final meet of our indoor season and we are just a week away from outdoor. Because we are getting so close we need to make sure everyone starts coming to practice every day (not just on B days). Everyone needs to complete their eligibility (go to the eligibility page to find info for everything you need to do).

Marcia Mitchell is also helping with our team swag. The online shop closes this Thursday so get your order in before it closes. It closes this early to give us enough time to get our gear before our first meet. The link to the online shop is here. Just to clarify, the online shop is for any extra stuff. Paying for your uniform at the office ($50) is including your top and bottom (unless you are a thrower then you will just purchase your top for $30) and it is entirely different from this online store. The things on the website are extra items that you can buy if you want to but you don't have to get anything. The white shirt is going to be the "parent shirt" but anyone can buy anything from there. If you have any questions, let Marcia Mitchell know: marciammitchell@gmail.com

Here is the schedule for the week:

Monday February 18th - No organized practice. Get a run/workout in on your own.

Tuesday February 19th - 2:40 PM @ HS Weight room
