Davis District Championships & UVU

Great job to all of those who went and competed at the meet this past week on Thursday at Box Elder. It was a great first meet to see where we are at. We still have a lot of the season left so let's make sure we are coming to practice every single day and doing our best. I want to address something that happened Thursday that I want to be very clear on so we don't have any issues in the future. I expect ALL athletes to ride the bus to and from the meet. When we drive ourselves and go with other people it becomes a liability issue and us coaches get in trouble if something happens. I also want everyone to stay at the meet for the entire duration as we are a team and we should cheer our team on until the end. Leaving early should be a very rare thing. Plan on staying the entire time with the team.

This week we have 2 invites. The Davis District Championships will be at Syracuse High School and will be on Wednesday and Thursday. We can only take a limited amount of people to this invite so not everyone will be going. We will let you know Monday, Tuesday at the latest who will be going. Saturday we will also take a limited number of athletes down to Orem to compete in the UVU invite. We will let you know by Thursday who is going to that meet.
