Hello Athletes!
We begin out summer training this week!!! We are excited to see you all and get to know anyone who is new!
For those who don't know, each week we will put together a blog post that will include your milage for the week and where we will be meeting! Each blog will also include reminders about activities or other events that are going on.
This week:
This week we will practice Wednesday and Friday, with a captain-led run planned on Saturday. The location for that run is TBD. You can view our training location/mileage for this short week in the chart below.
Our practice format will be as follows:
7 AM - team meeting
7:10 - team warm up
7:20 - team run and strides
8:10 - core
8:30ish - wrap up and depart
We will be dividing into 3 groups for milage:
Group A: New runners in Yellow.
Group B: Ran last season but didn't do track so might be a little rusty or are sprint demons! In Orange.
Group C: Runners who did track and are fresh and ready to go (if this is too easy talk to Jess) in Red.

Communication:
We will communicate mostly on Groupme. If an athlete has a question they should send it in the general chat or in a group chat with two or more coaches.
Parents, you can message us on group me or reach out to one of the coaches by email.

Summer Cross Country Important Dates:
Start date: June 3rd-TBD
Kids Track Camp: June 11-13 at 9:30 am @ Farmington High. We are asking all athletes to come and help work with the kids and run events with coaches.
Moratorium and/or our Mandatory Break: June 19th- July 5th
Cross Country Camp: July 27th-29th-TBD. This is in the works and we will be sending out an email from the PTA. Please make sure your email is updated.
