February 17th - February 22nd

Alright guys, this is the last week of indoor track. Let's start making sure we are at practice every day. Outdoor track starts next week and that is when our absent policy will come into affect. For those who haven't heard, our attendance policy will be the following: Attendance to track practice must be a priority. We will start taking attendance after practice is finished through scanning your ID with your event coach at the conclusion of your workout. Those who miss more than 5 times without approval from a coach will be removed from the track and field team.

We need your help to get your friends out and make sure they are coming to practice. Thanks to those who are always there and to those who have turned all their eligibility in. If you haven't done your eligibility yet, please get it to coach Brower ASAP. Go to the ELIGIBILITY page for info on what needs to be done.

If you need a physical but don't have one scheduled, We will have a Spring physical day on March 2nd at the high school wrestling room at 6:30 PM for $25. All funds go back to our school. Cash or Card accepted.

We also have our TEAM Shop up and running. This is run through Marcia Mitchell who is helping put this together and it allows you to purchase gear online. You can get whatever you want but you are not required to get anything. This is the order for track swag and gear for this season. The shop will run through Friday and then we will submit the order. Please go on and complete your order by Friday at 11:59 PM to ensure you get track gear.

This season we are also going to do a separate track shirt for parents/family/friends or athletes for only $10 (this is entirely separate from the online team store). We are starting to take orders now so if you are interested in one of these shirts fill out the 2020 Track & Field t-shirt order form. We need to know who wants a shirt by Friday February 28th. Forms submitted after will not be guaranteed a shirt.

Distance Mileage: You should increase your mileage 10% from last week so you should be at 100% on your weekly mileage. Talk to a coach if you need some help knowing how much you should be running. 

Morning Runs: Tuesday & Thursday (if you need the mileage - Varsity Mostly)
