Meet Information

  • Top 8 athletes in each individual event as well as the top four relays qualify for the district meet.
  • Starting heights in the high jump will be determined by the entry marks.
  • Athletes should report to the starting line or field event area at first call.
    • We will have bullpen officials checking in each athlete and making sure they know their heat/lane assignments
    • Students will be responsible to know which heat/lane they are in, the meet program which will be sent out will contain all of that information.
  • We will score eight (8) places, and will include marks from all heats and flights. Individual events and relays will be scored: 10 - 8 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1.
  • Shot Put, Discus, and Long Jump contestants will have three (3) attempts in the trials. The top nine (9) will advance into the finals for an additional three attempts.
  • No spectators will be allowed inside of the track. This includes the high jump area. Only competing athletes or those warming up will be allowed inside of the track. The infield is considered a restricted area, and makes things much more difficult when tons of people are wandering around the infield, and increases the potential for errors or impediment of runners.
    • No “games” will be allowed on the infield (like throwing/kicking a ball around). The infield is only for warming up.
  • Please make sure your team area is cleaned up at the conclusion of the meet.
There will be a coaches meeting at 1:30 PM at the finish line.
