Now that we've covered everything else, it's time that I share some news with you all. I can't even begin to express the profound love I have for this sport, Farmington High, and all of you; my incredible athletes. You've given me a front row seat to so many unforgettable experiences; numerous region and state titles, new school and personal records being shattered, and the best this sport has to offer--the comradery and friendships. With that being said, it is very bittersweet for me to let you all know that this track season will be my last at Farmington High. I will not only be leaving Farmington High, but also education in pursuit of another business opportunity that I could not pass up on.

This decision did not come easy and was one that weighed heavily on my entire family. While I am eager for new opportunities and challenges, I will miss interacting with all of you and watching you improve and succeed through your efforts. I feel so fortunate and grateful for my time as a Phoenix and I want to thank you all for your trust in me as your coach and for letting me take part in your lives in this capacity. The practices, workouts, failures, and sweet victories have enriched my life more than you can imagine, and I will miss it immensely. Thank you for not only being great athletes, but for being great people. I do not know who the new head coach will be at this time but I can assure you I will help make sure it is one that I feel confident can help take this program to the next level. More information regarding this matter will be coming as I receive it. Forever the first, forever the Phoenix.
