January 25th - 30th

2nd Semester is starting! That means track class is going to be on Tuesday and Thursdays. We found out that if we do after school practices we have to get everyone tested. After talking with the coaches and trying to navigate all the Covid hoops we have to jump through, we have decided that for the time being we will only be meeting during class time on Tuesdays and Thursdays. That way we don't have to test everyone. Now, when we start into outdoor track officially, we will be meeting everyday and we will have to get tested every 2 weeks. More info on that will be coming but if you are working, once we start outdoor track (February 22nd) you need to block out after school for practice. If you aren't in the class, come to the weight room or track right after school to try and catch the last part of our workout for the day and to stay in touch with your event coach. We will be posting workouts everyday on Train Heroic so make sure you are checking that frequently to know what to do on the days we aren't meeting. 

We are going to be starting our team gear store. This is an optional thing but if you are interested in buying some track gear for the upcoming season we are going to be running the team store starting Tuesday January 26th and running it through Tuesday February 2nd. This will hopefully ensure we get our gear by the time the season starts in March. I will post a new entry here on the blog with the link to the online store. Again this is optional extra gear. We will likely be doing a basic parent t-shirt that will be on the cheaper end ($10) if you want to get a shirt but want a lower priced shirt. More info to come on that soon.

Monday January 25th - On your own, check train heroic

Tuesday January 26th - 1:10 PM @ FHS Weight Room

Wednesday January 27th - On your own, check train heroic

Thursday January 28th - 1:10 PM @ FHS Weight Room

Friday January 29th - On your own, check train heroic

Saturday January 30th - On your own, check train heroic


Distance Mileage: Increase your mileage up 10% from last week (should be at 70%) 

If you are new or just starting to run, only do about 10-15 miles this week.
