Snow Canyon Information
We are looking forward to our trip to Snow Canyon next week. Here are some of the details regarding the trip. Below you will find information about expectations, communication, things to bring, itinerary, and meet details.
Before getting to that. Several of you have Us from 2nd term or any term in your 9th-12th grade year, and you won't be able to compete unless those are cleared prior to the trip. If you're reading this, please go check to see how many you have.
Expectations
This is a school function, so for the duration the expectation is that your behavior will be top notch. Because we are bring a group of great kids, I'm not too worried about it, however, I also will not hesitate to call your parents if any one is behaving in appropriately. We will have 5 coaches on the trip along with Mr. Allen, of the administration.
Top notch behavior means being on time for when we need to depart from the school, the hotel, the track, meals, etc. It means supporting your teammates when they are on the track. It means being in your correct hotel room at the designated time, being quiet, and going to sleep so that we can be ready for Saturday.
Communication
We will be using groupme to coordinate everything on the trip, so we are asking all athletes to join the groupme. Parents are also welcome to join if they'd like to follow along with our trip.
Please join the groupme here.
Things to bring
Please limit yourself to a suitcase and a carry-on like item. In addition to the most obvious travel items like clothes/hygiene products, here are a few suggestions of things to bring:
-Uniform
-Racing shoes
-an abundance of snacks
-things to entertain yourself on the bus
-money for meals
