I thank you for responding so quickly in regards to your interest in the Bob Firman race. The number of those interested is relatively few, we have 15 or so kids who would like to go.
In our communication there are a lot of kids who are going to be hurrying back home for the homecoming dance, and some may not be able to go at all if the scheduling for the races won't allow it to work out to get back for the dance.
Because this is a small trip with few numbers and a variety of needs, I'm not going to make this a team trip. In other words, if you'd like to go you can arrange with your family, or with your teammates to have the necessary travel or lodging. You may consider carpooling with someone's parent and then splitting the costs of hotel rooms (for instance, maybe you have a parent drive 4 kids up, then you get two rooms, one for the parent and another room for the 4 kids, and then split the cost, or however you want to do it).
I will have to register individuals for the races - if we have 5 varsity level runners of either gender we can put you into one of the varsity races (elite, preferred, I assume.) The cost for the race is $15, or slightly less if you have more than 4 of the same gender.
