The race this week at Valhalla was definitely our best team performance, in spite of a lot of illness going around the team.
Well over HALF of our team ran a faster pace for this 3.1 mile course than they did at the 2.6 mile course last week. We love to see that. Part of it is the time of year, and the training coming to fruition, and the other part is the mindset. We're focusing on controlling what we can control, being team oriented, and being all in.
The freshman/sophomore boys team cooked in their race, running their best as a team and taking the win. Lincoln took control of the race after a mile or so and never looked back. The other boys moved up the field together to win decisively.

We are down to our final weeks of our regular season. This week is our last full week of training before we need to cut back a hair for region, so we have to capitalize on it. Plan on some tough workouts in there.
