Registermyathlete.com is the website the state uses to register athletes with their sports. Athletes CANNOT compete until everything is completed and approved by the school's athletic director.
This page is to help make that process easier. If you have any questions please let your coach know.
First, always use one email address and password for a student-athlete. You can add multiple sports to one athlete account and multiple athletes of the same household under the same one account. If you need help click on “Having Trouble” at the login screen to find your email and/or password. DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT if you have trouble finding your information. Contact the school’s athletic director for additional help.
- Create an
Account/Log In:
- Go to https://registermyathlete.com/ and
click Login. Then click Create Account. If you already have an
account, log in with your email/username and password. Now that you
are logged in, click on the Parent portal.
2. Select Year and Sport:
·
Be sure to register for the current school year. The next
step prompts you to select the year as well as the sport the athlete will be
participating in. Please review information carefully before submitting.
3. Depending on the school, there may be a few
additional steps here. Continue to click on and complete the red or yellow bars
toward the left side of the page until you reach the Registration Checklist.
4. Registration Checklist:
·
This is where documents will be read and agreed to, legally
binding E-Signatures will be completed, agreements will be made to
certain forms for hazing, ethics, and use of the school’s athletic
trainer, physicals will be uploaded.
·
If you choose to upload a physical rather than turning in the
hard copy to the coach or AD, MAKE SURE YOU UPLOAD ALL THREE PAGES
OF THE PHYSICAL, WITH EVERYTHING SIGNED AND COMPLETED
·
Once this section is complete, you are finished on your end. Any
requirements here that require the parent to upload a document will also
require that the school’s athletic administration approve the document, so
please do not be alarmed if the status is Pending School Approval.
·
Once the AD has approved everything you are then eligible to
compete, but not before tat.
5. Complete Registration:
·
Your registration is complete once all items on the checklist
have been completed, and the AD has approved all pending items.
6. Additional Athletes:
·
If you have additional student-athletes to register, you can
start a new registration and add them as an athlete. Once you add them, they
will be available to select next time.
7. Future Seasons &
Years:
·
For future years, once your athlete has been added to your
account you only need to start a new registration and select them as the
athlete. This should speed up the process.
8. To Tryout for a Sport…
·
A student-athlete must have completed everything on Register My
Athlete (physical exam can be pending)
·
Be Academically Eligible from previously graded term (not
cumulative) of at least a 2.0 GPA and no more than 1 “F or Failing” grade, and
no outstanding U’s in citizenship.
9. To Compete in a Sport
Contest…
